It Was Never Between You and Them Anyway...
"People
are often unreasonable, irrational, and self-centered; forgive them
anyway. If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior
motives: Be kind anyway. What you spend years creating others could
destroy overnight: Create anyway. If you find serenity and happiness,
some may be jealous. Be happy anyway. The good you do today, will often
be forgotten. Do good anyway. Give the best you
have, and it may never be enough: Give your best anyway. In the final
analysis, it is between you and God: it was never between you and them
anyway."- Mother Teresa.

It was never between you and them
anyway ~I LOVE that!!! Holding on to hatred, anger and resentments keeps
someone else in control of you. At www.thenextwivesclub.com
we urge you to take your power back! When we enter into a blended
family
situation we can never be fully prepared for all that can accompany the
package. Often times we are at odds with an ex or the next of the ex or
even our former in-laws (outlaws in my case) ;) there are so many family
dynamics that it can seem that you have entered into a war zone with
each person fending for themselves; or worse yet, we allow our children
to become casualties of that war in an effort to hurt one another.
We need to stop the madness!
We cannot control the hurtful actions of others, but we can control how we respond! If
you can learn acceptance, peace will follow. Remember, holding on to
hatred is the easy part, it takes a heck of a lot more strength and
courage to let go and be the bigger person! It can be done! And if
you're not quite ready to let go of the hate...remember two things: progress, not perfection & a successful blended family is the best revenge! It's never too late to live happily ever after!
